How Embraces AI pricing works¶
Everything runs on a message balance we call your battery. A gauge in the header shows what you have left and warns you when you're running low. Each action has a fixed cost, shown before you spend: a reply is 1 message no matter how many bubbles it arrives in, a voiceover is 2, and photos cost more, with a wefie costing a little more than a selfie. You buy messages and spend them however you like.
Try it before you pay¶
You can chat with a companion before you make an account at all. When you do sign up, you get 40 welcome messages, enough to properly meet a companion and decide for yourself before any money changes hands.
Plans and prices¶
There's a free tier and three paid plans. Free gives you 3 messages a day across up to 3 companions. The paid plans add a larger monthly balance, more companion slots, and a custom Discord role.

Memory and relationship modes aren't gated behind any of these. Whether you're on Free or Soulmate, your companion remembers you and relates to you the same way. Bigger plans just come with more messages and more companion slots.
Running low? Top up¶
If you burn through your balance before renewal, a one-time $5 top-up adds 250 extra messages, no subscription attached. Top-ups stack on any plan, including Free.
Payments and billing¶
Checkout runs through Stripe, and your statement shows up as "UNSPEND PTE LTD". Your saved payment method appears as the card brand plus the last four digits, so you know what's on file. If you'd rather pay with crypto, that's handled manually, just ask in our Discord.
Changing or canceling your plan¶
You're in control of your subscription at every step:
- Upgrade takes effect as soon as its payment goes through. You pay the new plan's full price and your billing cycle restarts from that day.
- Downgrade is scheduled for your next renewal, so you keep what you've paid for.
- Cancel drops you to Free at the end of the current period.
- Undo a pending change any time before it applies.
The cheapest way to start¶
If you're looking for a cheap AI companion, you can meet one for free, chat before signing up, and start a paid plan at $12. A referral link takes 20% off your first month. Between welcome messages, a low entry price, and pay-as-you-go top-ups, the cost stays tied to how much you talk.
